Bright blue dye. Sensitive to hard water. Sodium nitrite or glucose must be added in the dye bath to prevent over-reduction. Exhibits limited chlorine fastness. Avoid oxidation in strong alkaline baths by rinsing immediately after dyeing. Addition of 2 g/l soda ash to the soaping bath is recommended.
