The Polymers Business of Atul was established in 1999 with the merger of Cibatul into Atul; Cibatul was a 50-50 joint venture between erstwhile Ciba Geigy and Atul, established in 1960 to manufacture epoxy systems. The Business manufactures a range of epoxy resins, curing agents, reactive diluents. It has the distinction of manufacturing epoxy resins and curing agents for the first time in India.
The research and manufacturing facilities are located in Atul, Gujarat.
With a portfolio of 450 world-class products, Polymers serves 1,180 customers in 41 countries. These products are mainly used by customers belonging to Adhesives, Composite, Construction, Electrical and Electronics and Paint and Coatings industries.
The Business is ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified and also has GL certification.
The team consists of about 470 people.
